	National Education Association (NEA), the nation's largest professional employee organization, is committed to advancing the cause of public education. NEA has affiliate organizations in every state and in more than 14,000 communities across the United States. The Tennessee Education Association (TEA) is the Tennesseee state affiliate. The Putnam County Education Association (PCEA) is the local affiliate.
	Association of American Educators ( AAE ) is the largest national, non-union, professional teacher association. AAE is committed to providing our students the best possible education in a safe and uninterrupted environment. AAE was formed to give teachers a choice, while providing the professional support and services that teachers say they want. The Professional Educators of Tennessee (P.E.T.) is the state affiliate. The Putnam County Professional Educators of Tennessee (PCPET) is the local affiliate.
