To help you determine what classes may be needed,
consider the following questions:
- What company goals or performance standards
are not being met?
- Are there projected changes in the business
that will add new goals or modify current standards for your
employees?
- What are the skills needed to perform effectively
in particular jobs now and over the next five years?
- If a work force program is set up, what
results are expected?
- What evidence would indicate that these
results have been achieved?
The Workforce Competency Check:
- Careless accidents occur even when warning
signs are clearly posted.
- Employees use poor grammar skills.
- Frequent math errors occur in reports, invoices,
and other data.
- Company morale could use a boost.
- A high employee turnover rate is affecting
productivity and profit margins.
